I just was reading about sea glass hearts on a web site written by a past president of the North American Sea Glass Association, Mary Beth Beuke. She has observed that most well finished sea glass pieces become triangular in shape. However, once in every 3,000 to 5,000 pieces, she has found a heart shaped piece. This shape is truly special!
