Seaglass Finds Around the World
While I am home and can blog, I thought I'd write about some of the interesting, exotic places I have found seaglass. Of course, Antarctica and the Arctic Norway top the list, but I have also found seaglass or riverglass or beachglass in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina (the tip of South America), Russia, and Romania (the Black Sea). So I will add some pictures soon of these fabulous places. These two pictures are from the Arctic Norway -- remember there are no polar bears in Antarctica, only penguins, seals, and sea lions. See the sun and the moon in the picture above!

Hi, my husband and I are traveling to the Lofoten islands in June. Can you tell me which beach(es) you found sea glass on? Thanks! Cathy. seaglassvisions at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI was in Tromso, Norway and Svalbard on a cruise ship that went around Arctic Norway, not the Lofoten islands. I think you will be able to find sea glass there if you are persistent. It is a lucky find!
