Photographing Jewelry

I've been busy photographing some of my designs.  It has been helpful to practice with my Nikon Coolpix P500, to figure out what settings work best.  Surprisingly, perhaps, the pictures of jewelry are best when I photograph in daylight and vary the shutter speed, rather than using flash.  Not very elaborate, but it works sometimes.  Of course, I often edit with the computer so that the colors are truer.

I will respond to questions about where to search for seaglass, travel sites, places to visit, restaurants, hotels, etc. as well as about Lucky Sea Glass Jewelry!
