My Calder inspired Fish Sea Glass Mobile

O.K. here it is.  I included sea glass I have found in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Lake Michigan, and sea shells from Florida, pearls, and more.  I used non tarnish gold wire to create the scales and aluminum for the frame.  Hope you like it.  I have him hanging in my kitchen window!

Organizing! And, my next project!

I've been spending so much time updating my website and my inventory lists.  Hopefully, now if you go to the website and see something you want to buy, there will be a PayPal button for you!  PayPal takes you to a secure site where you can choose what credit card you want to use.  Also, if you go to the Storenvy site, you can use PayPal there as well, and Facebook Fans can get a discount code there.  I am trying to keep things up to date, but I still have pictures to take and upload!

My next project is to create a mobile.  I saw in a book about the Smithsonian museums a picture of a mobile by the artist/sculptor Alexander Calder that looks like it includes sea glass.  It is a wire fish mobile.  He created it in 1949!

Gold Crocheted Bracelet

I thought I'd share this bracelet today.  I crocheted it with gold plated wire and added a 14K gold filled toggle clasp and blue and white porcelain beads for a design element.  It can be adjusted to fit most wrists. 

Accident and new Ft. Bragg, CA designs

Home only a few days, and we were in a car accident.   The car was totaled, but except for some bruises, I am o.k.  I was a passenger, by the way.  Anyway, I really haven't had the time to write for a while.

  I thought I'd put up a couple of pictures of  new jewelry designs.  I made a convertible necklace --- it can be a bracelet if you just unlatch the easy spring clasps, or a necklace.   Also, a pair of earrings made with aluminum and Ft. Home at last!  I took almost a thousand pictures, so I will just post a few here from the beginning of our trip, in Que Luz and Sintra.  And, we didn't visit all of Portugal -- didn't go to the resort area of the Algarve, in the south.  Here goes...   Let me know if you want me to post more of them.
