Seaglass Finds Around the World

While I am home and can blog, I thought I'd write about some of the interesting, exotic places I have found seaglass.  Of course, Antarctica and the Arctic Norway top the list, but I have also found seaglass or riverglass or beachglass in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina (the tip of South America), Russia, and Romania (the Black Sea).  So I will add some pictures soon of these fabulous places.  These two pictures are from the Arctic Norway -- remember there are no polar bears in Antarctica, only penguins, seals, and sea lions.  See the sun and the moon in the picture above!

  1. Hi, my husband and I are traveling to the Lofoten islands in June. Can you tell me which beach(es) you found sea glass on? Thanks! Cathy. seaglassvisions at gmail dot com

    1. I was in Tromso, Norway and Svalbard on a cruise ship that went around Arctic Norway, not the Lofoten islands. I think you will be able to find sea glass there if you are persistent. It is a lucky find!

I will respond to questions about where to search for seaglass, travel sites, places to visit, restaurants, hotels, etc. as well as about Lucky Sea Glass Jewelry!
